This grimoire belonged to a renowned elementalist from the Ixamitl Plains. Their personal philosophy was that the true path to mastering the arcane arts was in balancing the use of elements. Focusing or relying too heavily on one element would inevitably cause a practitioner to find themselves in a situation where they could do nothing against the dangers arrayed against them. Whether this philosophy holds much value is to be debated, for Anextli's name has mostly faded away into obscurity while more focused archmages such as Ryngrim, Ninagauth, and Kalakoth are still widely known.
