Through a combination of rigorous training and innate talent, many individuals throughout Eora are able to open their senses to the essence that permeates all things. To manipuate this essence, however, requires a level of dedication above and beyond what most are willing or able to achieve. Adra rings like this are especially valued by wizards and scholars alike for providing brief flashes of insight and sharper concentration. Allegedly this is from the echoes of souls that once inhabited the pillar this adra was taken from, but this theory has never been confirmed.
