Avowed clothing

Clothing items are non-armor items that provide additional bonuses, forming a core part of a player's loadout. Like all equipment, clothing found in the world can only be equipped by the player character. They cannot be upgraded and do not have an associated quality.

Clothing items can be either unique or generic. While all generic clothing items can possess bonus effects (a trait which is specific to clothing), unique items are distinguished by an additional enchantment (which may not itself be unique).

Functionally, clothing items are identical to accessories. They are further categorized by the equipment slot they occupy:

Boots, footwear equipped to the feet slot.
Gloves, handwear equipped to the hands slot.
