Enchantments in Avowed provide various types of clothing, accessories, armor, and weapons with special passive effects. These effects activate when the item is equipped, granting the wearer or wielder various benefits.
Enchanting[]
Unique weapons can be upgraded by enchanting them. Enchantments are limited to one of two mutually exclusive upgrades that always the base enchantment. Once you apply an enchantment, you cannot undo it.
Most weapons provide one of two additional enchantments, one that enhances the existing primary enchantment, and another that replaces it, providing you with a entirely different set of effects.
Like quality upgrades, enchanting requires an amount of enchanting materials (always monster parts), and a currency cost, which are consumed upon applying the enchant. The amount needed is almost always 10 materials, split into 5, 3, 1 and 1. The recipe used to enchant a weapon is the same for both enchantments.
Enchanting is done at the Enchanting Station in the Party Camp.
