Avowed pistols

Pistols are a type of one-handed ranged weapon in Avowed. They shoot high damage, high Stun projectiles perfectly straight at a medium range, although they must be aimed, and have a slow rate of fire as they must be reloaded in between every shot.

You cannot Block with a pistol without also wielding a blocking weapon in your other hand, or a shield in your off hand, making you vulnerable to damage when equipped.

They can occupy either your main hand or off hand weapon slot, and may be dual-wielded with another one-handed weapon, or an off hand item such as a shield or grimoire.
