The locations in Avowed are split into a series of interconnected zones, each with a number of sub-areas that can be explored.
- Eastern Overlands
- Dawnshore, a coastal port settlement.
- Galawain's Tusks, a rocky mountainous area with an active volcano nearby
- Shatterscarp, an arid desert environment greatly affected by the Dream Scourge.
- Thirdborn, a settlement on the cliffs, home to Rauatain settlers.
- Leviathan Hollow, a watery dungeon in the remains of a colossal leviathan.
