One of the more interesting wizards in Eora, Bekarna's research into stars and celestial affairs was a subject of grave importance to the Deadfire, though not to the Archmages. When she presented her work to the Circle of Archmagi, she was laughed out into the streets. Undaunted, she continued her work, eventually crossing paths with the Hand Occult and becoming imprisoned in The Halls Obscured for seeking unauthorized revelation. As subject K-1121, her mental state steadily deteriorated, due to the isolation from her orrery that always helped her center herself.
