Captain's Cabin is a location in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.

Upon re-entering your body, you awake in the Captain's cabin of The Defiant.
Points of interest[ | ]
- This area is part of the prologue, after your soul enters your body you awake to a stunned Edér. After some reuniting banter, one member of the crew rushes in, and exclaims that the ship is under attack by pirates.
- You can get some starting gear from the armoire, next to the bust of The Steward. It is required that you do this before exiting. The gear contained within is entirely dependent on your starting class and the weapon proficiencies chosen.
- Exiting the cabin leads to the fight with Benweth, and the scripted interaction involving the ship being beached onto Vilario's Rest.

- In the armoire:
- Two base weapons (or shields) depending on your chosen weapon proficiencies.
- If the "Fine Equipment" Berath's Blessing is enabled, these will be replaced with the Fine version of the same weapons.

- If the "Fine Equipment" Berath's Blessing is enabled, this is replaced with Fine Robe, Fine Leather Armor, Fine Breastplate, Fine Brigandine
- 20x Golden Duc
- 15x Copper Pand
- Hylea's Bounty, only if you kept your promise to Hylea during Council of Stars in Pillars of Eternity.
- Berath's Black Bell, only if you kept your promise to Berath during Council of Stars in Pillars of Eternity.
- Mythical Adra Stone, if the "Mythical Discovery" Berath's Blessing is enabled.
- Weathered Grimoire (or Adventurer's Grimoire during the Backer Beta), only as Wizard.
- 8x Whiteleaf, only as Monk (Nalpazca).
- Two base weapons (or shields) depending on your chosen weapon proficiencies.
Trivia[ | ]
- This is the only time the Captain's Cabin is accessible as a separate area. During the game, it is contained within the Belowdecks area of The Defiant, and is viewed from a different angle. Some of the furniture has been shifted around to compensate for this.
- Captain's Cabin is contained within the same area as The In-Between (as seen from the map screen), albeit with the rest of the area hidden. If you re-load the game while in this area, part of The In-Between will become visible.
