Captain Teryc Lofell is a character in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Background[ | ]
The captain of a Príncipi ship, the Antelope, recently attacked in the midst of an unnatural fog while sailing the waters to the east of Kahanga. Lofell and his boatswain managed to flee the attack on a skiff - though they were stranded near a coast "bristling with the wreckage of other unfortunates". Now shipless and crewless, he's returned to Neketaka to ask for aid, but neither the Queen nor the trading companies will listen. Desperate for any assistance, Lofell fears that his crew will never be seen again.

- The Final Voyage: Lofell lost his crew to an attack by The Floating Hangman and asks you to "do what you can", should you ever come across them. Before he leaves, he gives you a Cloak of Protection.

- The captain does not always appear in Serpent's Crown, where he stands next to the fountains directly south of the palace. He will only appear if the following conditions are met:
- You haven't already spoken to him before.
- You haven't already started or completed the quest A Paradise of the Mind.
- Not after or during the coup on Neketaka during the quest The Final Maneuver.
- You have spoken with Eothas during the quest He Waits in Fire.
- In order to force him to appear, you can use the following console commands before entering Serpent's Crown:
