A trim man in practical, well-crafted leathers watches you from the corner of his eyes. When he catches you looking his way, his hand drifts casually to the dagger at his hip and lingers for a moment. Then he smiles, the corners of his hazel eyes crinkling with genuine warmth, and waves you over.
Carlo was born to a family of merchants on the Pearl Coast, growing up learning his father's trade and geography. His good fortune continued, until he made the mistake of joining up with a company from Girrara that traded in beautiful weavings. Trouble is, the goods were produced by a kidnapped weaver named Bonisetta. When the Watcher's companion uncovered that crime, Carlo was caught up in the fallout and exiled from the Republics.
He fled to the Deadfire, seeking anonymity and whatever opportunities he can find.
