Cooldown refers to a period of time during which a specific ability, item, or action cannot be used again.
Overview[]
Cooldowns prevent the player from using repeat, uninterrupted actions against enemies, and must be managed in order to maximize effectiveness. The cooldown timer is typically initiated immediately after the ability is used. However on effects with a duration, it is initiated after the duration is elapsed.
Certain items, equipment, and abilities provide bonuses to cooldown reduction.
