Though at first glance these shoes appear to be purely for show, they are surprisingly functional. Common enough among members of the Solace council, Kostya, as usual, went above and beyond and had his shoes enchanted. Of utmost importance was the Supreme Comfort enchantment. As frivolous as it seems, they helped a great deal when trying to keep a level head after hours of standing around a council table. Additionally, as a paranoid individual, Kostya tried his best to prepare for any possiblity. These shoes were enchanted to help him stay out of harm's way when he inevitably angered his fellow council members. Unfortunately for him, they were not enough to prepare him for you. At least you have some very nice shoes now.
