All attacks with weapons have a random chance to be a Critical Hit when they strike, which deals increased damage to the enemy.

The likelihood that an attack results in a critical, the Critical Hit Chance, is based on both the weapon used, as well as the Perception attribute of the wielder. The amount of damage dealt by a critical, the Critical Hit Damage Bonus, is a base of +50%.

Critical Hits are represented by a yellow circle with yellow text inside it, and are accompanied with a "twinkly" sound.

Weapons[]

All weapons have a base chance for their attacks to crit, which does not change as they are upgraded. Compared to generic weapons, some unique weapons have a different base Critical Hit Chance.

Since the player can wield a different weapon in each hand, the Critical Hit Chance of primary and secondary weapon attacks are tracked separately.
