Farentis is the previous High Abbot of the Abbey of the Fallen Moon in The White March - Part II. He's now of the Low Tide, awaiting the next Rising inside the Halls of Silence.

Tufts of downy gray hair sprout from the back of this man's scalp like shrubs. His lower lip curls inward over a row of teeth that appear to have mostly fallen out, and a musty odor hangs about him like a fog.
Farentis was the High Abbot of the Abbey of the Fallen Moon preceeding Kaoto. Having been of the High Tide in his time as Abbot, he is now of the Low Tide and dwells in the Abbey's lower levels, in the Halls of Silence. The effects of the Halls have driven him to dementia, though unlike his peers, he is of sound mind and desires only one thing: To die in peace outside the Halls of Silence.
