Father's Aegis is a unique enchantment in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. It is applied to Nerian's Ward, a unique medium shield.

Effects

• Incoming weapon Damage is reduced as Health is lost. (Max +15% Damage reduction)

Notes

• The value is calculated with the formula: (Normalized health * 0.1) + 0.85. At 100% Health, the wearer recieves -5% Damage taken, and every 10% loss of health results in an additional -1% Damage taken, to a maximum of -15% Damage at 0% Health.
• Similar to the enchantment Defiant, but only reduces damage dealt by weapons instead of all sources.
