Adwellen Rügfald III is a character in Pillars of Eternity. He can be found in the ruins of the Temple of Woedica in the First Fires district of Defiance Bay.

A ghost hovers in the middle of the ruin, reciting blessings and prayers. Even as the spirit's form shifts and swirls, it retains the face of an elderly man and robes that mark wealth and status. It turns to you.
The spirit belongs to an Aedyran lord, who was one of the first colonists to arrive in the Dyrwood. Although the colonists burned the temple down in wake of the revolution, he continues to haunt the old stones in defiance of their defiance... Convinced that he is actually still alive, rather than utterly dead. This doesn't stop him from ardently worshiping Woedica, queen among the gods, the Oathbinder and Exiled Queen.
