For the Republics! is a faction quest in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Synopsis[ | ]
At the palace, I encountered Nirro, a representative of the Vailian Trading Company. It seems like the Vailians have a strong presence in the region. It may be worth my time to make contact at their headquarters.
Walkthrough[ | ]
- This quest is an introduction to the Vailian Trading Company questline. It is started automatically upon first entering Kahanga Palace in Serpent's Crown, after the meeting between various faction representatives. Pallegina is present, alongside Nirro, Canta Nicese - a delegate of the VTC.
- You may choose to recruit Pallegina after the meeting, otherwise she will be found on the lower floor of the VTC HQ.
- The RDC equivalent of this quest - The Brass Empire, and the next main quest A Distant Light is started at the same time.
- The quest directs you to the Vailian Trading Company Headquarters in Queen's Berth. Speaking to either Lueva Alvari on the ground floor, or Ignato Castol on the top floor (he might not be present, depending on your current progress on other quest lines) will complete the quest, leading onto the quests Terms of Trade, and the overarching quest The Storms of Poko Kohara.
