|Biography and appearance|
|Game||Pillars of Eternity|
Freyol is a psychiatric patient in Pillars of Eternity.
A curved spine twists this woman's posture forward, her greasy hair draped over her large eyes like vines. She smiles at you. Freyol is a commoner of low material status, with a rather sad past: Her husband and both sons died in the Saint's War, and her daughter was hollowborn. She managed to survive by renting a small place in Ondra's Gift, mending clothes and taking alms from others. However, her life was complicated further by a seemingly simple job: A noblewoman brought her a dazzling blue gown to repair... The color caused her soul to awake, bringing back forth memories of a noble life, filled with food, mansions, and men doting over her. She could not reconcile those memories of privilege and carelessness with the harsh circumstances of her current life. It threatened to drive her crazy, so she checked herself into the Sanitarium for treatment, to try and forget.
