Himuihi is a character in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Background[ | ]
The woman stands outside the half-finished building, arms crossed, as if in protest of any shelter it might offer.
She looks like she's scowling, but the scars on her face make it hard to tell.
Himuihi is a member of the Mataru caste and runs the Tikawaran trade post and is constantly at odds with the ranga over the problem with the local lagufaeth. The creatures constantly raid the food stores of the village, making off with whatever not nailed down. To try and counter the problem, himuihi used a cage full of small lagufaeth as bait and set up a hunting competition to try and get the Mataru to exterminate them.
She is quite annoyed at having to deal with trade and administrating the trade post, set up in an old shipwreck. She grows restless having to take care of the combined inn and trading post, though it's mostly a function of settling on Tikawara: The island has very little in the way of game and even less in terms of notable materials. However, she is also plagued by the memory of slaver raids that ruined her village - raids that she failed to protect her people against.
