Kaz is a pet in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Kaz was the pet dog of Fleet Master Ko stationed at Hasongo, and made good friends with Ishiza and Maia. He made it through the cataclysm unscathed.
Description[]
Kaz is much happier and generally more friendly than when you first found him hiding in Hasongo.
While the little pup Kaz is following you around you gain a bonus to Stealth and Survival, and some enemy Hits against your party are converted to Grazes.

- Kaz is named after Kazunori Aruga, the lead artist for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. He would often use the doge meme during development.
Companion reactivity[]
- Maia Rua: "I remember this little soldier! Glad to see you made it, friend."Maia kneels down to scratch the dog's ears. Ishiza hops closer and cocks his head. He prances in place, wagging his tail happily as he looks at Maia.
- Eder "Uh oh. We got a ferocious beast watching us. And he looks like he's got a very itchy belly."
