Description[]
Modern priests of Magran favor swords and firearms, but some early Magranite warriors in Grand Vailia bore armaments called thuribles, sturdy censers suspended from a simple handle by a length of chain. Thuribles burned a mixture of olive oil and incense, which showered across the unfortunate victim of the Magranite's wrath. The fuel almost inevitably splattered the wielder as well, a penance eagerly accepted by worshipers of the goddess of flame as proof of their devotion.
Though some temples of Magran continue to employ thuribles in a ritual capacity, few examples of the martial form still exist.
