Kuaru Spirit is a character in Beast of Winter. She can be found on the north-western tip of the main island, in The Shattered Passage. To get to her, you need to cross the pool of water by killing the aumaua spirit (a Shambling Soul, which drops Kaihōa) encountered near the entrance to The Drowned Kingdom.

The spirit is busy repairing a bridge, although no amount of hammering on her part has any impact on the progression of repair. What happened to it is unknown.

Bridge interaction[ | ]
She will not let anyone, except Mataru, cross the bridge, by order of her ranga.
The Watcher can use Betrayal to pose as her ranga, telling her that the enemies have landed on the beach. This will prompt her to open the way forward, fixing the bridge in an instant, and follow your lead to charge the enemy. After her labors are done, she wonders where she should go. You can either point her towards oblivion, or return her to the Wheel by having her come with you.
Being allowed to cross the bridge gives the Watcher access to the portal, which in turn gives access to the Glamfellen Soul.
