Pillars of Eternity Wiki

In response to patch v1.3.7.0.1377 to Pillars of Eternity (June 6, 2024), the random loot tables shown on the wiki have been updated. These changes may take time to propegate.

As a result, random loot data is no longer accurate to old versions of the game, including all console ports. We'll be working to provide a mechanism to switch between pre-patch and post-patch loot for console players.

ID Objectives
0 Mapping the Archipelago: West Wakara Reef
10000 Sanza, the excitable cartographer I met in Queen's Berth, wants to compile a complete guide to the islands of the Deadfire, but he can't do it on his own.

I've made some progress, but there is still much to explore.

1 Explore the islands far to the southwest of Neketaka.
10001 Sanza, the cartographer in Queen's Berth, asked me to make a survey of the uncharted islands of the Deadfire Archipelago.

We've made some headway, but there's more to do. Sanza has asked me to survey the islands far to the southwest, west of the Wakara Reef and the Kangati Islands.

20000 I found an island of overgrown jungle, and on it an ancient Huana ruin overrun by lagufaeth.
20001 Upon a desert island, I found a Huana ruin, filled with deadly traps.
2 Return to Sanza.
10002 I have filled in the southwestern quadrant of my map. Sanza will be eager to hear of my progress. I can find him in his shop in Queen's Berth in Neketaka.
End states
No 30000 Someone critical to the completion of this quest has been killed.
Yes 30001 I mapped the islands west of the Wakara Reef, and returned to Sanza with the information.

Trivia[ | ]

  • This quest's fail state is incorrectly marked as not failed (although this has no effect, since killing Sanza fails the quest anyway).
