Minor Arcane Reflection is a wizard ability in Pillars of Eternity.[1]
Description[ | ]
Creates a field of arcane energy around the caster, causing hostile targeted spells up to 3rd level to be reflected back at their casters (for a total of ten spell levels).

- Caster: Minor Spell Reflection for 60.0 sec (10 spell levels up to 3rd level reflected back at enemy)

- Each time a spell targets the character, its level is used to increment a counter and the effects are redirected back at the caster. For example, Crackling Bolt would add 3 to the counter. Once the counter reaches 10, the reflection effect wears off. If an incoming spell causes the counter to exceed 10, it is not reflected (the effect still wears off).
- A failed attempt at reflection counts toward the limit. When an incoming spell targets the caster, the Reflection attacks the enemy's Will. If it succeeds in the attack, the spell is reflected. If two casters both have Arcane Reflections up, the attack can potentially bounce back and forth repeatedly until one caster fails his or her attack or exhausts his or her Reflection.[2]
