Perform a forbidden technique that projects a part of the soul in a blast of pure force. Those struck are Interrupted and Enfeebled. The damage of this effect is greatly increased if the monk's soul is cursed.

After each use the monk's soul will be cursed for a short time, increasing the Wound cost and Damage of Forbidden Fist as well as increasing the duration of any existing curses. Each curse afflicting the monk's soul will continually cause damage.

Intense practice and years of study enable the monk to move with confident fluidity in battle. During combat, the monk's Stride is significantly increased.

While wielding a single one-handed weapon, some of the attacker's Hits are converted to Crits.

  • -15% Weapon Recovery Time when dual-wielding
Specialized training increases the character's Action Speed while using a weapon in each hand.

Calls upon the power of the monk's psyche, reflecting half of ranged missiles targeting only the monk back to their point of origin. Only attacks resulting in a Miss have a chance to be reflected back.
4th Level Monk Passives
4 (IV) Ability passive defense icon Crucible Of Suffering Passive Self:
The monk gains insight through endurance, gaining a temporary bonus to Fortitude, Reflex, and Will whenever a hostile effect expires.
Ability passive raw damage icon Rooting Pain Passive Foe AoE (on gaining Wound):
Occasionally generates a shockwave around the monk each time he or she gains a Wound, inflicting a small amount of damage and Interrupting all enemies in the area.

  • +20 Defense when Disengaging
Gain additional defense against Disengagement attacks.
5th Level Monk Passives
5 (V) Ability passive weapon icon Enervating Blows Passive Attack Targets (when scoring a critical hit):
By targeting certain points on an enemy, the monk is able to inflict physical weakness. Melee weapon Critical Hits cause the target to become Weakened.

Increases the base maximum health that you gain with each level.
Ability passive weapon icon Uncanny Luck Passive Self:
Gain a small chance to completely avoid any attack and to convert some Hits to Critical Hits.
6th Level Monk Passives

Increases the amount of damage dealt by Critical Hits.

Enemies that break engagement with the monk give the monk a Wound.

Grants a chance to completely resist the effects of a hostile spell.
7th Level Monk Passives

  • 25% Chance on Melee Weapon Critical Hits to attack again instantly
Each time the monk deals a Critical Hit in melee, there is a small chance to trigger an additional attack, instantly.

  • +20% Affliction and Inspiration duration on Empowered attacks
Empowered attacks gain increased duration on Affliction and Inspiration effects.

Resonant touch icon Resonance Passive Attack Targets (when scoring a hit with an attack):
The monk's strikes generate a sympathetic resonance between the monk and their target. Successive strikes increase the intensity of the resonance. At a time of the monk's choosing, the monk can trigger each resonance to inflict devastating Raw damage to anyone currently carrying them.

The monk's Accuracy increases slightly with each Wound they possess.
9th Level Monk Passives

Ability passive raw damage icon Imagined Pain Passive Self when missed by an attack (when missed by an attack):
Attacks that miss the monk have a chance to provide the monk a Wound.

Increases your Power Level, increasing the effectiveness of all abilities.
