One Dozen Stood is a plate armor in Beast of Winter.

Description[]

Items in italics are quoted directly from the game.

Blackened and scored, this heavy plate bears the mark of a master metalworker of New Dunryd, the name of the Dyrwoodan capital of Defiance Bay prior to the revolution that freed it from the Aedyrans. The symbol of Magran's flame graces the breastplate and pauldrons, barely visible under the wear the steel has suffered. The youngest of the Dozen, Ysly of Baelreach had served the duc for five years and her erl back home for a decade before that. A deft hand with a blade and a fervent believer in the ideals of Magran, Ysly seemed an obvious choice when she volunteered to help hold the bridge. The duc granted her a small panoply for the encounter, including a battle-worn suit of plate that had been gathering dust in the Shrine of Magran. Though details of the battle are scarce, this is certain: after the explosion of the Godhammer, nothing of Ysly or her armor remained.

Acquisition[]

  • The Bridge Ablaze: On the falling Dyrwoodan warrior. He's found on the bridge, between the towers, during Dusk ("The Moment After"), just before the Wandering Soul fragment.
