Effects
Summons a staff of negative energy for 30 seconds that restores Essence to the wielder with every strike.
Rank 1	Unlock Parasitic Staff
Rank 2(Level 5)	At the cost of 20 Essence, Power Attacks create a large area of effect, dealing high Stun to enemies and restoring a proportional amount of Essence to the wielder.
Rank 3(Level 8)	Increases the summon duration to 45 seconds.

Parasitic Staff is an active wizard ability in Avowed, learnable at level 1 from the wizard ability tree. It can be upgraded at levels 5 and 8.

To cast Parasitic Staff, you can equip a grimoire containing the ability at level 1 or higher. Alternatively, if you own a grimoire with this ability, you can purchase it directly from the wizard ability tree, allowing you to cast it without a grimoire equipped. Purchased spells cast from a grimoire are cast at one Rank higher.
