The party camp serves as the player's temporary base of operations in Avowed. It can be set up at any time during gameplay by interacting with large Adra Waystones found throughout the Living Lands, giving you and your companions a moment of rest and respite. The camp exists as a small instanced area that is set up and packed away when you need it. The party camp is not upgraded throughout the game.[1]
Companions[]
Your companions, even those that are currently not in the party, can be found at the party camp, where they can be interacted with or asked to rejoin the party. This gives you a chance to talk to them and learn about their backstories. Companions also interact with each other in the party camp, where they exchange in banter.
Interactions[]
While in camp, you can:
- Use the Workbench and Enchanting Table to upgrade and enchant your equipment using resources you've collected during your adventures.
- Use the Cauldron and recipes to craft consumables and unique materials.
- Store extra items in the Party Stash to reduce your overall Weight and prevent Encumbrance.
- View and place your collected God Totems.
- Learn new abilities and distribute points into your attributes.
Leaving Party Camp will restore your Health, Stamina, and Essence. When you leave, you have the option to exit to the same spot in the world before the camp was set up, or to the location that you fast travelled to the camp from.
Behind the scenes[]
- The party camp was first mentioned during the Deep Dive following Developer_Direct 2024.[2]
