Pasca is the innkeeper of The Black Hound in Gilded Vale in Pillars of Eternity.

Background

A former waitress who worked the tables of The Black Hound, she took the establishment over after the original owner just up and left one day. She looks after the place and even the old black dog he left behind. She works hard to keep the inn running, but it's been worth it thus far, especially with Tenfrith working the kitchens.

Other interactions

• After petting the dog upstairs, you can ask Pasca about it to learn that she (the dog) is still waiting on the old owner of the place. This is another nod to the cancelled game Baldur's Gate III: The Black Hound, the inns namesake. You can then go back upstairs to adopt the lone pup.
• After rescuing Tenfrith during Late for Dinner, you get a ~16.6% (x1.5 to x1.25) discount on goods, and a 25% discount on rooms.
• If you convince/threaten Trumbel to give the villagers grain during Against the Grain, you get a ~13.3% discount on goods (x1.5 to x1.3), applied when speaking with Sweynur at the end of the quest.
  • If you also completed Late for Dinner, you instead get a better 23.3% discount (x1.5 to x1.15) on goods, and 25% discount on rooms.
  • Conversely, if you kill Trumbel, the miller, Pasca will be forced to increase her prices by ~33.3% (x1.5 to x2.0), not including rooms, due to the predicted shortage of grain.

Initially her selection of goods is bare, but after rescuing Tenfrith during Late for Dinner, a larger selection of wares becomes available, all of which are restockable (prior to this, items will not be restocked).
