Prone is a status effect in Pillars of Eternity and Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire. It causes the character to be knocked down for a duration, during which they're unable to take action. It may specifically refer to:
- Prone, the status in Pillars of Eternity with the effects: knocked down, -10 Deflection, -10 Reflex, -2 Dexterity.
- Knocked down lasts 0.5 seconds, after which the character takes a further 1.0 seconds to stand up.
- Prone (Deadfire), the status in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire with knocked down as its only effect. Prone is a stronger type of interrupt.
- Knocked down lasts 1.0 seconds, after which the character takes a further 2.0 seconds to stand up.
- In turn-based mode it also applies -10 Deflection, and instead lasts until the next round.
