Purnisc (PUR-nish) is a character in Pillars of Eternity.
He can be found on the second floor of Purnisc's House in the Copperlane district of Defiance Bay. The person on the first floor of the house claiming to be Purnisc is actually Nyrid.
Background[]
A well-off citizen of Defiance Bay with a two-story house in Copperlane, Purnisc was engaged to Kaenra, but she broke ties with him after he hit her during an argument. However, unknown to Kaenra, it wasn't the real Purnisc who hit her. The real Purnisc was beaten and locked in a room by Nyrid.
Before being impersonated by Nyrid, Purnisc was selling svef to make a living. To get out of the business, Purnisc began skimming money off the top of his sales, but his supplier found out and sent Nyrid to deal with him and take over his operation.

- His Old Self: You'll meet him during the quest, where you can either rescue him from Nyrid or kill him.

His store, "Purnisc's Apothecary", sells only Svef. It is available after completing His Old Self, assuming you dealt with the imposter Nyrid.
