Rowyna is a character in Pillars of Eternity.
Background[edit | edit source]
Rowyna was a member of the Northwatch Rangers and in love with their commander, Dalton. She perished around 2763 AI, when the Rangers confronted Helig of Thein near the Lake of Drowned Tombs. The necromancer wiped the Rangers out, with the exception of Dalton and Rowyna. Both were wounded, with the latter finding a fate worse than death: Hellig extracted her soul from her body and forced it into a small amulet she wore, taking it as his prize. She remained in the locket for over sixty years, a mute witness to the horrors Helig wrought upon the world.
