Rune Powder is an ingredient in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.

Description[]

While alchemists utilize knowledge of the mundane world to manufacture gunpowder, ambitious practitioners of magic have created an alternative. Rune powder, crafted through a process similar to the techniques used to make grimoires, burns hotter and faster than black powder and is easier to ignite, making it more reliable, especially in inclement weather. For these reasons, it is exceedingly valuable, both to soldiers and sailors, who must often fire their weapons in the wet and cold.
