Background[]
Taerna is a wood elf pirate who gambled on a sure thing one night - and wound up overestimating her luck. Now Jacob Harker, the proprietor of The King's Coffin, owns her until she pays off her debt. Until then, she works as a dancer for him. Problem is, Harker charges her for everything, from the uniform to the drinks, on top of the interest rate. As such, she started with a debt of 250 pires, paid it twice over, and is still in debt... for 700 pires.
