Listing equipment by slot[]

What do people think about listing equipment by slot instead of having separate pages for cloak/cape/amulet and hat/helmet? I think that would be a lot clearer than the current way of doing things. Whammm (talk) 11:35, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

I propose the following: merge the Cloak and Cape articles into a new one "Cloaks and Capes", but leave Amulet a separate article, also merge the Helm and Hat articles into a new one "Headgear".--Lychnidos (talk) 19:31, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Seems fair, it would be nice to have all the neck slot items on a single page, but this seems like a fine compromise. "Cloaks and Capes" seems like a rather clumsy name however. It might be better to pick one and have the other one redirect there. Whammm (talk) 22:14, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Good enough for me. I'll take the liberty and implement those changes.--Lychnidos (talk) 22:28, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

Not all item stats clash / gets suppressed[]

Yenwood con stacking

Yenwood Constitution Stacking

The +2 Constitution bonus from Whispers of Yenwood stacks with, e.g. +2 Constitution bonuses from armors. — AnorZaken (talk) 17:03, 10 January 2018 (UTC)

Never have cared much about these mechanics or observed them carefully, but it seems that would be important, then. Might it be possible, that different categories of items (weapons, armor, accessories, etc.) stack? No, not as I recall. And then it would be nearly always the case. The other possibility would be that at least one of these two is a specific and different "Of Constitution" effect. Well, have to watch this … Interesting found, anyhow! Um… I will nevertheless remove that screenshot from the article, yet have to see if I alter the note for some more reliability when the proof image goes missing. ;) -- UserCCCSig -- You talkin' to me? -- cCContributions -- 13:46, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
Yeah these effects on items almost always suppress each other. This could simply be a bug with this specific item. I haven't noticed this with any other item than Whispers of Yenwood, but then again I haven't been actively looking; I could have simply missed it on other items, so I thought it would be interesting to bring this up to see if anyone else had found any other items with stacking stats. —AnorZaken (talk) 05:35, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
