Transcendent Suffering is a monk ability in Pillars of Eternity.

Description

Monks achieve greater understanding of their bodies' capabilities through enduring the hardships of existence. Their base Unarmed Damage starts much higher than other characters and increases permanently every three levels they gain.

• Self: +2 Unarmed Damage, +0 Unarmed Accuracy

Notes

• Every stage of Transcendent Suffering grants you bonus unarmed damage and accuracy (see the specific stages for exact numbers). The bonus damage is subject to increase by stats such as Might like the cross class variant, Novice's Suffering.
• Unlike weapons' accuracy bonus, the accuracy bonus of Transcendent Suffering will not work with any offensive ability such as Force of Anguish or Torment's Reach. This is most likely a bug. It only works with auto-attacks.
