The Trantons weren't always a family of outlaws. Generations ago, their name held some weight among the Dyrwoodan elite as one of the countless minor noble houses that dotted the countryside of the Eastern Reach. When times inevitably got harder and the family's coffers ran dry, they had no choice but to turn to mercenary work to survive, and eventually banditry. Driven away from the country they fought to liberate, the family eventually found its way to the Living Lands, alongside so many other malcontents and exiles. Avoiding lawmen and soldiers is no easy feat, but these greaves of exceptional make assist greatly in such endeavors.
