Violet Redemption is a cloak in Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire
Description
For most of her life, Kaethys of Readceras had paid no heed to the laws of gods nor kith. She was a crook, concerned with little but her own venal pleasure. When Saint Waidwen revealed his divine nature upon the pillory, however, her heart and mind opened to the light of Eothas and his prophet.
When Waidwen deposed the corrupt government and marched on the Dyrwood, Kaethys took up arms in his name. The Divine King presented her with this purple cape and instructed her to be his vanguard against the unbelievers. Thus blessed, she met the Dyrwoodans in the field clad in violet.
Beset by foes, she fought with the fury of the righteous, her cape swirling around her. No blow went unanswered. Her victories mounted and she led her cohort of militant faithful until the battle of Halgot Citadel, where the Godhammer ended her crusade in a blast of metal and stone. Waidwen was gone. Later, before her capture, Kaethys was seen searching the debris as her troops fled. Her cape was nowhere to be seen.
