Weapon bonus: Best attack is a weapon type bonus in Pillars of Eternity. It is innate to all great swords, pollaxes, rods, scepters, swords, wands, and war hammers, and does not show up as an enchantment.
There are also several other weapons (listed in the table below) which do not natively inherit Weapon bonus: Best attack from their weapon type, but instead have it as their unique bonus.

Weapons with Weapon bonus: Best attack unique bonus[ | ]
The following table lists weapons which have a Weapon bonus: Best attack despite not belonging to any of the weapon types to which the bonus is innate.
This unique bonus makes these weapons extremely valuable, as they are capable of damaging even the enemies which are immune to damage type normally dealt by weapons of corresponding weapon type.
Notable examples are Massuk Hunting Bow and Stormcaller, as they are the only Ranged Weapons capable of dealing two damage types (apart from Implements) – thus being able to hit enemies immune to Pierce damage.
